HI, i recently purchased an ASUS F2a55-m l e (motherboard) and a AMD A10 6800k processor, i've fitted them and installed windows 7 successfully but when windows loads the screen does not fit my monitor which is a samsung TV it's to zoomed in! i can't see the top bottom or sides of my screen I've had this problem before so i tried to increase my resolution only to find that It could only go up a little and it didn't make much difference and since restarting i can't increase it at all. initially i thought i may need the 64 bit version of windows but i'm not really sure what if any difference that would make, I then thought my GPU may be the problem so i went to Nvidia to do a scan for which drivers i may need only to be told "The NVIDIA Smart Scan was unable to evaluate your system hardware. Please use Option 1 to manually find drivers for your NVIDIA products." But i cannot do this because i dont know which card i have, i used PC wizard to try and find out and it says i'm using a standard VGA adaptor does this mean my card is not compatible? IF so how can i find out which cards work with my Motherboard
any help is much appreciated thank you

I had a similar issue but i have dedicated graphics. what i did was downloaded the latest drivers and went into control panel to check the display settings. and i fixed it :D EDIT: are you using the Intergrated GPu of the 6800k or a dedicated one as you said nvidia and the 6800k is AMD

ON my old motherboard i was using the same tv displaying at 1900 and something i forget the exact number i'm not sure if that is relevant but thats what i was trying to achive here. Are you saying that the only way to solve this problem is to buy a new monitor? also i have no sound i've just realised
