Hey,
So I got a new laptop yesterday, custom built. It came with a trial version of Windows Home Premium. I had a version of Windows Professional ready to go, so I installed it, no problems. However, when I went to connect to the Internet, I noticed I couldn't (odd as I had been able to with the previous OS). After a small while of searching, I concluded the problem was in the drivers;
the Network Controller,
3D Video Controller,
PCI device,
PCI Simple Communications Controller
and one of my USB controllers aren't working.
This wouldn't be such a big deal if I could connect to the internet via that computer, as they would auto-install. However, it will not detect my wireless network. Even when I try to connect to the ethernet, it registers that there is a cable, but only comes up with a "Unknown network" "No connection available". The manufacturer of the computer is notebook, and the model is W65_W670SR.
I would be able to download and transfer drivers (I've already done this for the Ethernet driver, which was having problems), but I do need specific information.
Please, any help would be appreciated.
Regards, Kelvin McClean.
