So I was removing some dust from my PC, and while I was doing this I removed the RAM from the slots. When I later restarted the PC it wouldn't post, the DRAM led is solid red. Sadly i do not have a speaker attached to the PC. From what I have read here I have come to the conclusion that it might be a motherboard problem, but I'm not sure. Seeing as I don't get any video signal at all it is also possible that it is a CPU problem. I have also checked the GPU and it seems intact.

As of right now i have removed everything from my motherboard and I intend on putting back components one by one to determine what the problem is.
Is there anything I should do before I put all the components back or does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that all the fans are going when I start the PC.

Thanks in advance.

the same thing happend to me with the red light. just take the ram out and make sure you push it in all the way till it clicks. also if that dosent work try running it withought the ram in it. if that still doesent work then just take all the components out and replace them.

I made sure the RAM was in correctly and I tried running it without the RAM. The problem is still there. I am going to take out all the parts and put them in one by one now.
