ghost XP IDE drive to SATA drive

If it doesn't boot, you may:
1. need to install the SATA drivers, or
2. set the BIOS for IDE native support and later install the SATA drivers from Windows.
3. If it still doesn't boot, try Safe Mode and install the SATA drivers, chipset drivers, and all those with a yellow question/exclamation mark in the Device Manager (My Computer-right click\Manage\Device Manager).
4. If it doesn't boot in Safe Mode, a Repair-Install is the solution. You obviously don't have a XP CD so you may have to borrow one of the same edition, but use your own Digital Product Key.. If you don't have it in the case sticker or CD package, you'll need to recover it from your installed XP with the Hiren's Boot CD included tools.
