Viewing WD Passport files on 2nd computer

I had backed up my files on my laptop to a WD Passport, I am now trying to access the information from my desktop. What file do I use to view them as if I was working directly in my computer? I can see the backed up data folders but not sure what application to launch to see the specific data? Any help is appreciated, Thank You!

What are the files and the file types you are trying to access ? Generally no applications are needed so see files. Just plug the ex drive to Desktop system, look into "Computer" (formerly known as "My Computer"), you will see the drive, double click it, and there are your files.
