Hi everyone,
I am looking to spend about $1500 on a new desktop computer (minus the monitor) that is powerful enough for image editing and digital painting with Photoshop. Although I am not completely computer illiterate, I don't want to spend time building my own because all of my spare time is spent learning about (and working to support) my photography/digital painting habit. I am tired of crashing my laptop and inventing a new swearing vocabulary to keep myself from throwing it across the room (mostly kidding). Eventually, I will probably hook up two monitors to this desktop when I can afford a really good monitor. Does anyone have suggestions on a system (not Mac) and where to purchase it? I am reading some frightening stories about mainstream online stores. I have to admit that I am looking for someone that has at least 6 month free financing, which seems to eliminate the smaller and probably more reliable smaller businesses I would rather support. (Sad ,but honest). There. I've laid it all out. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
