My monitor suddenly stopped working correctly. It happen after I closed my computer one night and woke up at morning. The power light blinks as yellow for few sec and sometimes it stays as yellow and wont display anything. Sometimes the screen comes up as white. For like 1 week it still started up after removing power cable few times but now it wont. Any way to fix it?

EDIT: Oh yeah, my old (very old) monitor does work on the same computer, so it prob isn't graphics card.

EDIT2: Tried with VGA(my mainboard got one VGA place) and wont get any signal with it either.

I don't know how long you have had this monitor and if it's still under warranty but it sounds like it's defective and a tech support call is necessary , hopefully it's still under warranty. If you hadn't tried another monitor to verify the graphics card I would have said it could be the video card or the monitor.

Try factory reset on your monitor. After factory reset, make sure to choose input mode to vga if using vga cable and dvi if using dvi cable. Connect both the monitors to your computer and see if both are detected in device manager. If one is not detected check for loose connections or that monitor or cable is gone bad.

How can I do a factory reset? I have both of them connected atm to the computer and device manager only shows my old flatron screen. How do I check for loose connections? Sorry for asking so much question, just new stuff for me :)

A factory reset would be in the Monitors menu, you should also try switching the cables to make sure you don't have a bad cable. A loose connection is when the cable is connected to the monitor from the video card you check each end to make sure it's not loose.

I have tested with different power cables, I only have one VGA and DVI cable, I am sure the cables are connected fine and I can't access Monitor's menu.

Even when it "starts" I can't open menu or anything.
