Hey guys, trying to get a new card and need your advice! I'm selling my 480 and 570 for about $220 then trying to add max $50 cash to get a new card. Gonna answer all the relevant questions!

Looking to buy this weekend, possibly next week (depending on when my sales go through)

I use my PC for gaming only, never really watch movies or do 3D work, or fold.

I haev a Kingwin modular extreme 600w PSU, has one 6-pin PCI-E and one 8-pin PCI-e.

CPU is AMD Phenom 975 BE (Quad, 3.6ghz), mobo is Asus M5A97 R2.0, and 8GB of DDR3.

I PREFER to buy from microcenter, usually they have lower prices and if not, they do pricematch to newegg/tigerdirect (not including rebates, of course). I live in the US, in Kansas.

I prefer Nvidia over AMD, but... I've never actually owned an AMD card, if there is a very good reason I should get an AMD, I'm all ears!

I am fine with doing some overclocking, and possibly down the line crossfiring, but don't see that being somethign I'd do soon. On overclocking, I've never had much success doing it, but there's always next time.

Monitor is 1920x1200, 60hz.

I am wanting a card that will mainly run the monitor better on games like Battlefield 3/4, Arma 3, Crysis, etc.

If you want to check www.microcenter.com be sure to, at the top, click the "Select your store" and choose the Overland Park, KS location.

I've been looking and seeing that a 670 FTW may be my best bet at the price point, but I'm sure there are other choices I'm not seeing that you can help me find.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Sorry, the 670 FTW was on craigslist. I DID however just find a 7970 for $240 @microcenter! Is that the instant winner?
