I have disconnected the SATA plugs and the only thing stopping me from pulling the bay right out is the wiring to the fan (which sits just behind the grill). Can anyone advise me as to how to get the fan off without pulling the black & red wires away - they disappear into the mechanism somehow. The wiring is anchored inside the case before it gets to the M/B, so pulling the plug from the M/B wouldn't help either.
