Fx 6300 heating up?

Hello today i built my computer and turned it off and let it run for about 10 mins, (i am waiting on my os and video card) But the temp starts out at 33C and with in the first 10 mins goes up to 42 degrees C i tell via mother bored bios.
Is this normal i did wipe and aplly arctic silver paste to it also

The CPU is an Fx 6300.

Could i have put to much? any idea on whats happening?

I'd wait and see after you have the other parts. CPU may be running hotter if it's relying on integrated graphics even just for looking at the BIOS. Maybe. :p

added its an Fx 6300 and the motherbored is an asus m5a97 le R2.0, should i just reaplly or wait till i install and boot into windows and check that way?

Update: I used the pea method.

on another forum i was told this Until you boot into the OS the processor is running at full speed, so it will run hot even when idling. so ill take your advice and wait.
