So my GTX 670 broke, and I am saving for a Radeon 7970, but am using my onboard Intel 4670 graphics to play games. Most games are fine, but a few games are giving me error messages and refusing to boot. It's mostly Minecraft that frustrates me the most because I'd love to actually play the new updates, but I can't. The error message I keep getting is:

---- Minecraft Crash Report ----

I have updated my drivers and have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it.... Any ideas of what to do?

Thanks in advance

It's a sad fact that Intel graphics are garbage, despite what the Intel fanboys say. Sure, Intel managed to greatly increase their GPUs' performance level but compatibility is still a glaring issue (and always has been). It appears that Intel forgot (or didn't bother) to include OpenGL compatibility in their GPUs. Until you get that new card, you're up the creek I'm afraid.

Ok thanks, I've only got to wait a few weeks to wait anyway. I just don't understand why they would create graphics that can run borderlands 2 well but leave out something that my mum's 8 year old laptop can do :??:

I have no idea but graphics problems like this are why I never recommend Intel laptops unless there's a Radeon or GeForce mobile GPU in it.

Hard to say what exactly might be your problem, but I would suspect lack of opengl driver.
Did you get your drivers from Intel or from Microsoft (eg via Windows update)? Drivers redistributed by MS may not have OpenGL at all :-(
Check if system32 has something like ig75icd32.dll.
