Hey guys,

To keep it simply, on my Laptop which is on Windows 8 is connected to Wireless Network, the laptop is connected with a LAN Cabel to my PC which is on Windows XP.

My problem is i want to share the connection I have on my laptop (wifi connection) to my PC, my laptop is connected to PC with LAN Cabel.

I connect to the Wifi succesfully and then i plug the cabel into my Laptop, up there i see a Connection and it says limited, i've clicked everywhere on every possibilty to enable the sharing services, but it still says on my laptop the connection is limited.

Please help, incase you guys didnt understand, i have Wifi on my and i want to bring this Wifi connection with a Cabel to my pc, hope it's understandable.

Thanks for your help guys

What you need to do is go to the microsoft site and follow the instructions on how to setup internet connection sharing. ICS.

It works ok but you are using one of your computers as a router and if you do too much with it...ie run games or something it will have a impact on the computer behind it. If this is for a long term thing it will likely be worth your while to find a router that will connect to the wireless network and share the connection to your PC.
