Can a 4 cores CPU run Battlefield 4 without any problem?

Hello guys, I am building my fist gaming PC. I am choosing what to choose, a 4 cores CPU with a high-end-card, or a 6 cores CPU with a lower card. I already made a topic about this which you can check here.

So, my real question is, is there a big difference between a 4 cores CPU and a 6 cores CPU when playing games like Battlefield 4? I saw their requirements, it says that the recommended CPU cores was 6 cores. But is there a real difference between 4 and 6? Does Battlefield 4 really use 6 cores? Also, I am asking this because I want to have a better video card if possible.

Here is my plan:
Buy a lower processor then buy a high-end video card. Or, buy a high-end processor then buy a mid-end video card.

Extra information:
I will not only play Battlefield 4, but I will also play games like Skyrim, Borderlands 2, and so on. I'm going to use an AMD processor.

Solution
your CPU might bottleneck it a bit, since it's essentially an i3 (2 modules/4 threads), but if you have a strong GPU then it may not matter too much.
They recommend 6 cores because BF4 does utilize multi-threading so an AMD quad core might be a bit weak (since it doesn't have strong IPC nor does it have a lot of cores to direct workload)

After looking at your other topic, I would say go for the FX 6300 and the 7950, for one thing the FX x3xx are of the Piledriver architecture, which is an improvement over the FX x1xx processors (it has stronger IPC essentially), another thing is that that combination will be a lot more balanced for overall use, which imo is key to a good system. If the FX 4130 were compared to, say, the FX 6100 it...

I want to use AMD with 4 cores, is it enough? Also what is MOM?

If the FX 4130 were compared to, say, the FX 6100 it would've been closer competition, since the FX 6100 is basically the FX 4130 with 3 more cores, but the FX 6300 is miles ahead, it has both stronger performance per core AND more cores to direct workflow better for CPU heavy tasks like multiplayer modes.
The FX 6300 will handle BF4 well and won't struggle in multiplayer modes of any game (MMOs, shooters, etc) like the FX 4130 would. The 7950 is also a very strong card that can be overclocked to 7970 performance levels anyway so the 7970, some would argue, is a waste.

yes you can play bf4 multiplayer in 64 player servers with an fx4100 cpu or better with 60fps+ if you have a good gpu, I know many people would be going on me now, but first there were many updates and optimizations since day one and a friend with fx 4300 and hd7790 plays no problems at 1440x900 high in 64 player servers with 55fps+ :)
