Upgrade cpu or new board

I am just trying to get a better gaming experience. Was just wondering since i think i can get the core 2 quad for under 100 bucks go with that or get a board new card and some more ram. that prob in the 2-300 range maybe.

So is the core 2 quad a great upgrade or is it not worth the money in your op's

If you wanted to go the Core 2 quad route it would be more of a temporary upgrade until you can build a whole new system

so best bet for upgrade is board and cpu and mem i already have a gpu 7790
