my Windows 7 Home Premium cant create a virtual machine

My Windows 7 Home Premium can't create a virtual machine, I want to upgrade to windows 7 Professional, in order to install Windows virtual machine. Will that solve the problem?

Thanks. I will try that and see if it solves the problem of: "CANT CREATE A JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE, PROGRAM WILL EXIT" from command line execution of Java programs.

That was the first thing I did before the installation of the virtual machine. My problem occur at Java runtime.

no there are two types. virtualpc and virtual pc 2007 sp1.
on a win7 machine it takes you directly to virtual pc not virtualpc 2007 sp1

Downloaded the virtual machine, and installed Windows XP OS, but can't seem to be able to connect to the Internet from the virtual machine. And this stopping me from installing software that I need on VM. Any help Plz?

check out vm network settings it should let you add a network adapter.
just curoius what program are you running that needs xp?
