Best gaming monitor out there atm?

I'm upgrading my gpu and looking to get a new monitor for gaming. I hear the benq Xl2420TE is the best choice right now is this true? Also I forgot to mention I'm looking to get at least a 120hz monitor.

There are a few of them. I like the 24" model in 16:10(golden ratio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_ratio) @1920X1200. You may want 16:9 thou, as it's mainstream now.

The BenQ is marketed well. 1ms response time (thou that is all BS now), 144 Hz. And NVidia ready. Unfortunately it's just a TN panel.

At least get an IPS display.
