This is my first post here, I usually find my answers on this website from other peoples' posts but can't figure mine out. I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my PC after a couple years just to format my PC really. I've noticed that once I'm 20-30 minutes into a game my PC completely freezes.
I thought it was a heat problem and I checked and I found my CPU was getting as hot as 65+ degrees Celsius so I bought a new CPU heatsink/fan. Since then its been below 40-45 degrees celsius ingame and idle. My mobo is also very cool, along with most my PC.
But I still seem to be getting the same problem. I can only assume its drivers but I've updated my GFX, sound and all sorts to the latest versions.
For some reason I feel like I had this problem years ago and fixed it, like it was a bug with the mobo or something but can't remember well enough. What's weird is that I had zero problems before the reinstall, its only afterwards I encountered problems.
Here's my specs:
CPU: Intel i5 750
GFX: ATI HD 5770
MOBO: Asus P7P55 LX
