Just received 2 8GB sticks of Corsair Dominator platinum, 2133MHZ speed. One is being used in an i5 3570K w/ASUS P8Z-77V. The other stick in a Gigabyte F2A 85X-UP4 w/AMD A10-6800K. I also have available 4 4gb sticks Corsair value, 1333MHZ. Would it be best to place both platinums in the same system, and place all 4 value sticks in the other system. I've read the AMD with APU requires more memory bandwidth, and thus am leaning to placing both platinums in the AMD system, and the 4 values in the Intel box. I am not a gamer, I do use the Intel box for some amateur video editing. Yes, this qualifies as a first world problem!

Even assuming you could the 2133 and 1333 to play it would all be at 1333 and the bulk in single channel - this is either the 16GB in one rig or split them and run 8GB in each and sell off the 1333 which hopefully you could get enough to put to a 2x4GB set for 1 rig or the other

Thank you for reply. Kind of figured this was way to go, put 16 gb in one system and get a set of 2x4GB.
