Hello all, firstly I'd like to say that I bought a Nvidia GeForce GT 640 and I did not experience screen tear on my old graphics card. However, with this 640 I have been experiencing this screen tear, I have tried using the "adaptive" v sync option along with and without triple buffering within the nvidia options but it has not helped me.

It is actually not very noticeable in games, it is much more noticeable in videos such as youtube or when I want to watch anime or just generally any video on the internet.

I've looked at a few things about this issue on these forums and on google but nothing has quite had the same issue as I have and I haven't found a fix for it.

Any replies would be much appreciated, if I cant find a fix I'm considering just reverting to my old graphics card because the screen tear is more annoying to me than a lower performance card.
