I am planning on upgrading my motherboard from my current (specs in signature) to an AM3+ 990fx mobo with a new AMD FX 8350 cpu also. I just want to see what other mobo options i have, so i would like to see a list of all the AM3+ 990fx motherboards available, and i can see if there are any better ones for my needs; i havent been able to find a list with a google search so far so thats why i ask here. I currently have my sights on an ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ board.

I would also love any recommendations and advice from anybody. Im not too picky, i dont care about colors and other optional things like that. I would just like atleast 3 PCIe slots for possible SLI gpu setups in the future, and i would like a full ATX board if possible b/c i hear that its better and easier to work with and you can actually fit all the 2-slot graphics cards that the board allows (like you can fit 3 gpu's if the board has 3 PCIe slots), but im not sure if those two claims are true so some help on that is needed too. I dont plan on doing much overclocking if any at all. It will obviously be for gaming, and also some video editing once i get into Youtube and make gaming vids (not too worried about having certain hardware for that).

So any help, feedback, advice, recommendations are very greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sorry for long question :/

The extreme4 board is an Ok FX http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#s=4&c=17&sor... but on that list are better boards so really question of budget.

Thanks. People are always saying this or that board is better. Im not disagreeing or anything. But what makes a board better if its the same socket and chipset? What would it improve or make it better exactly?

You can look most of them up here http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-... really the big thing is PCB and power management. The Extreme 4 has 8+2 power phases so it is an recommended OC board, in contrast the Extreme 3 only has 4+1 so not as good. Then you get into the higher class boards which have even more layers in the boards and more features, the Extreme 9 (similar to the Fatality in the link) for example.
Usually higher class boards are better overclockers, better ram support, additional features like extra slots for GPU's, more options to tweak in BIOS and so on.
Most user do not need that so for the average user the Extreme 4 or equivalent is sufficient.
