I'm in the processing of building a completely new rig, and am looking for some assistance on graphics cards. Currently looking at an ASUS R7 260X. The price point is good, the overall increase of power it offers over the R7 240 is great, especially at the nominal increase in price. However, I'm wanting to plot and see if there's something I can look forward to in the supposed Dual GPU graphics cards I've heard of but can't find.

And, since all the cool kids are doing it, here's my current purchases/build in progress:

ASUS M5A99FX
AMD Vishera FX-4350(4.2GHz Quad core)
Crucial Ballistix Tactical Low Profile 1600MHz 8GB RAM
Samsung 840 PRO 128
Corsair CX750M PSU
Micro$oft Win 8.1

This is the graphics card I'm currently looking at, but I am up to plenty of suggestions on it.

I wouldn't bother. The only two on the market today are the Radeon HD 7990 and the GeForce GTX 690. The Radeon is a bit cheaper at around $800 but it just isn't worth it.
