After getting a new 3570k and a new mobo, I go about installing it. I had fried my 2500k! I install the Corsair H100i after applying a layer of mx4 thermal paste using the card spread method. Having just recovering from a overclocking that went bad,I was very cautious this time round! I started by running the system on stock setting and gradually push it towards 4.5. I keep close watch on the vcore and temperature. My room is about 25c and I use occt and prime95 for stress testing. I also include game play with bf4 ,crysis3 and cod ghost as part of testing because it had a situation where the game will crash or freeze up within minutes even if it clears hours of stress testing! At 4.5ghz I achieve stability with the following setting. I put the multi to 45, the vcore set to normal with 0 offset in bios(the default bios vcore reads 1.065) and everything else on default. At idle the vcore reads 0.89v with temperature around 26c.running 2 hrs of occt gets the temperature to max of 59c with the vcore at 1.15v . I get very similar result with about 7 hours of prime 95. What surprises me is playing bf4 for just half an hour actually max out all the 4 cores and readings were all near or at stress test level! Vcore were at 1.15v with around 50c+.
Is my temp and vcore good? Should I celebrate or should push further?

Not competing with anyone. Just that overclocking this time was so much faster and achieve with much lower vcore and temperature, that I was wondering how much safety margin I am left with. I had just murdered my previous 2500k!
