I Have a boot up problem with an HP DC 7600 small form factor PC.
- 9 beeps when I switched on - so I replaced the button battery on the motherboard.
- However, after a few successful boot-ups it gave the nine beeps again.
- When I remove/replace the same battery it boots up (after I enter the date/time in the 'set up').
- After that it works fine. (XP boots up as normal!).
But to use the PC now I have to switch on, remove/replace the battery and go through time/date set-up.
What the heck is it?
