CPU , Motherboard and Processor Fan

Hi guys,
my Ausus+Amd CPU died a warrior's death some days back after 6 years of rigorous gaming and am looking for a new friend that would company me again.


My ATI Radeon card 1 GB works fine , so is the PSU 500W.

Am looking for a combination of a good AMD CPU+Mobo+Fan , that will satisfy my needs to perform decent in Battlefield 3 type games.(medium/low settings)

I was kinda interested in AMD a10 5800k, but it has itegrated graphics of 512 mb, so not sure if it will work well with the card i already have.


Any suggestion is welcome, my budget is around 200$(14000 INR).

No, I got it, that motherboard can be found for around $70 here, I'm not sure what pricing is like in your country though, so I'm not sure how much I can help with motherboards.

You don't have to use the integrated graphics, that is a good CPU, though I would suggest the 6300 or even an 8320 for around the same price with an Asus M5A97. I would also get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo for cooling. You can probably find those around $200, if not the Hyper 212 is not necessary.

hello, i implied that cpu+motherboard+fan=200$, the mobo which you have recommended is around 170$,
wondering, whether my english was so bad...

yes i do see two versions of Asus m597, one is cheaper.

My another point is, since i would be using a 1 gb video card, so not sure if i should by a cpu with integrated card, as i wont be using it...
