The 650W and up are, but the 550W isn't, you're right. It would mean you would have to turn off those deep sleep states in your bios if you had an issue come up. That ZT is looking better and better. Plus modular...
Some hard choices there are some great high quality psu's there.

For me it's between the XFX (made by seasonic, arguably the best PSU maker right now) or either of the two modular OCZs just because I like clean cable management. If the XFX was modular it would be my choice hands down.

thank you for your answer i want to ask you something else is it bad if i get a 750w psu for a pc with a single gpu? i can find for now the versions of the ocz zt series 550-650-750 watt at 78 euros 90 euros and 91 euros
