Has the 7990 been fixed? Is it a good choice?

Im building a new pc for a friend and we found a deal on the 7990 for £450. Since it comes with 8 games and is so powerful he wants to get it. He is set on it and i want to know if they have fixed the problems and he does not mind the noise or power consumption.

Mostly, there are still some microstuttering in multi monitor gaming, but that will probably be fixed soon. i say GO FOR IT!

Thanks for the quick reply's. Would saving up and going 2 770/780 be better? Like a single one for now then next year adding another one.
2 770s would be in budget right off the bat so we are considering that.

Well the HD7990 would be better in performance than the GTX770 SLI.

So its really up to you. I am a firm believer that the HD7990 is AMAZING at its current price.
