Hello, My Hard drive what i watch movies/tv shows of onto my tv has a error now. So Basically what happened is a message came up saying "Fix Drive" or "Continue without scanning" and i clicked Fix drive as a movie i just got would not show up on my drive anymore...

So now when i plug the hard drive into my PC or media player, i cant access it or see anything in the folder, all it is now is "Local Disk (E:" and i cant run it without changing it to NTFS without losing all the files on it (Which is like 50 TV series or more), I think it was originally NTFS. So my question is how do i convert it without losing all my data or how do i fix this error???

DETAILS:
BRAND: Western Digital USB

Thanks :)

Seagate's Bootable DOS diagnostic disk image also works on other brands of hard disk (but not external USB disks)

If disk is dying then be prepared to try to recover files off old faulty hard disk and get a new drive. (If a repair works it is usually only temporary and...

TestDisk / PhotoRec suit may work
