I'm building a gaming pc for Christmas but I don't know what components to go for. I have a budget of 500 to 550 pounds if any one can help that would be great...thanks

I think that fx-6300 is the best choice at that price range. The motherboard is oc friendly too. Now about the gpu if you can save some money you can save and buy a 770 or a 280x later...
