My DAD is having an old pc

It has Intel Pentium 4 processor...
512 MB + 512 MB SD RAM

He will use PC for browsing, Corel DRAW x5, PDF

Thats all....

Can anyone suggest some lightweight OS With Decent Performance...

xp will run fine on older pc. if you can run a crucial memory advisior scan on his pc see if it take two or four gig of standard ddr-2 ram.
it be a 40.00 or so upgrade but he get his money worth on the amount of apps he can run at the same time on his old rig.
myself for your dad I would get an h61 motherboard and a g line cpu and 8g of ram and windows 7. or look for back friday deals. the new pc will be so snappy he be happy.

Thats the Maximum... DDR2 is not supported... :/

Is There any light version of XP... for Old Machines...

a friend told me Tiny7..a light version of windows 7...

something like that...
