[Skyrim] What kind of performance will I get with this build?

Just wondering what sort of fps to expect with the build I'm getting.

CPU: Intel core i5 3330s 2.7 GHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 Ghz Edition 2GB
RAM: 8GB GDDR5

I have a Phenom x4 @ 3.7GHz and a Radeon 6950 2gb and with the high res texture pack I can play it smoothly on Ultra @ 2560 x 1440 so you should be able to do even better. If you add mods it can vary depending on the mod.

BTW oyur RAM must be DDR3 not 5 on the system RAM.

My bad on the 5, typo. Anyway I've seen people get terrible fps with this but the benchmarks I've looked are saying an average of 87 fps. Plus if your doing 1440p I'm only using a 1600 x 900 monitor, so I should be good. I've also heard your CPU will help with performance as Skyrim is very CPU demanding, and yours is 1 GHz more than mine, do you think this will make a huge difference? Thanks for the help!

Your i5 CPU at 2.7GHz should perform at least as well as my dated Phenom in skyrim see

Also note Skyrim was only CPU bottlenecked on launch since then patches have made it not so.
