I have old system which I have just upgraded with new RAM and GPU so it looks like:
CPU: E8500 core 2 duo @ 3,16 GHz
MoBo: Asus P5KC with intel chipset P35
RAM: 4 Gb DDR3
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 7850 1 Gb
PSU: MS-PRO 550 ATX P4.
Since installation of the abovementioned GPU & RAM, coputer keeps on chrashing every little a bit, with blue screen showing briefly before comp restars itself. Event log shows all kind of different errors of which critical is at all times Kerne-power related to system stopped responding, crashing or losing power unexpectedly. Also there is bunch of messages related to services failing to load or start.
Could this be related to PSU, do I need more power for the system? Or is it possiblly some hardware conflict?

Judging by your description, it seems you need a better PSU. The new GPU needs a MIN of 500W, understanding that the power fluctuates up and down (below and above 500W) and also having more than a GPU to run.
Get a PSU with greater power is my advice above 500W.

Thx a lot, it seems that the problem is in PSU being not strong enough. Will see if I could get sthing at about 760 or higher W.
