connection problems help

I have a acer laptop which is connectedtothe Internet but each time I try to load a page it will come up o screen but wont load properly then it states its not responding and try to recover the page but cant.

Sorry I meant its Wireless and I will give that try and let u know. And yes kn my phone I can browse the web. On the laptop it trys to load the page but sticks.

I have checked and cant find the virgin logo in task bar. My laptop just has the wireless on I tap the password n it says connected. Im not to good on computer tec jus knw how to use the net

Sounds like it is a wireless problem, not sure but I know some places you have to login to a specific website first and enter in a username and password, check with your wireless provide to see if that is the case.
