just bought asus m5 a97 r2.0 mobo, amd fx8350 cpu and 2x4gb corsair vengeance 2133Mhz mems. when bios boots at default it shows total memory 4080mb running at 1333Mhz. when i boot windows 7 x64 i can see 8gb total memory but 3,9gb available (rest is hardware reserved).
on cpu-z memory tab it says 8192Mbytes single channel, nb freq = 2207Mhz dram freq = 668Mhz, fsb:dram = 3:10
over spd tab i can see 4096Mb ddr3 modules installed on slot2 and slot4 (so yeah ive installed them on same colored slots which is blue and tried black slots earlier aswell nothing changed)
tried installing 1 dimm at a time. nothing happened they are fine on their own. just i cant make them run on dual channel.
pls help me with this problem and thx in advance.

Have you tried in slots 1-3, also may not be able to run at 2133 - the 8350 is rated up to 1866 at 1 stick per channel - may want to look in the BIOS for DOCP or EOCP (AMDs equivilent to XMP) and try setting at 1866), may also need voltage and or timing adjustments....can play with this then give us an update - will need the actual model # of the sticks to help, can be found in CPU-Z under the SPD tab as Part #

just wanted to add screenshot in case u might wanna point out something else.
fyi ive found the problem. it appears that my dimm slot3 and 4 not working. earlier i was trying my dimm sockets on the same slots and thinking that they work just fine when i run them alone.
5min ago ive tried ram1 on all sockets and 3-4 failed to boot. same happened for ram2. so i guess im gonna go back to shop and change my mobo with a working one.
btw im running them on full speed right now with stock cpu fan; fx8350 goes up to 4,6ghz stable. i just wonder how much performance im loosing when im running on single channel.
