Hi
I recently had to replace my motherboard due to the bios getting screwed up.

My graphics card is a 2GB Gigabyte GTX 650 Overclocked
the new motherboard is ASUS M5a97 pro
and my power supply is a OCZ CXs500W

with the old motherboard I got video
I have tried using my house m8s 700w PSU and still got no video
I have the VGA switch card installed
The PC boots with a low profile graphics card
There is a red LED lit in the graphics card area of the motherboard
I have connected the power supply to the 24 pin and 8 pin ATX connection and graphics card

It's unusual but I'm thinking this card is dead
What else could I try?

So, the motherboard was using the low profile card before you put in the GTX 650?

What model was the low profile card? AMD or Nvidia

Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the GTX 650?
If you changed the motherboard then it would have most likely have come with a driver disk, you probably are still using the drivers for the old motherboard (on the hard drive) which is why your having issues
