Hey everyone,

So I'm planning to build my own computer (this will be my first time) and I'm looking to see if you all have any suggestions on my current build. Also, this is currently at pretty much the top of my budget so I couldn't really do much to raise the price. My main questions would be: Any possible problems with this build? Would any bottle necking occur with this build? (If so how to fix this) Is any of it unnecessary and could be bumped down to lower the cost?

Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/SkyMysteryBlade/saved/2Q4s

I'm looking to be able to play games like crysis 3 and witcher 2 at max settings around 50ish fps. I plan on doing SLI in the future.

Thanks!

I'd wait on the SSD for now, even though that's a good price. Swapped some things out and around for better cost savings or better performance.

Cheapest motherboard I've seen that supports SLI. Faster clocked 780 for just a tad more money. If you plan on going SLI in the future, you want to buy the PSU now. That Psu you had was getting replaced anyways. This one, is a great quality, and has enough wattage for SLI'ing 780's, and overclocking. Changed out the HDD for a different brand, and larger cache.

:edit: Crap, you went for a white/blue theme. For some reason, that costs a lot more money than black/red.

Regardless, you need to replace the Psu for probably an 850w from a better brand. Check out: http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx for some info and reviews on Psu's.

I'm guessing your budget is around the $1350 mark. You have a couple of issues -

First, your choice of PSU is appalling. Choosing a PSU which is cheap for it's power is not a good idea, unless it is on a sizeable rebate and of a reputable brand.

Second, if you're going to be overclocking, get an aftermarket CPU heat sink. The stock cooler just won't handle it.

Here is a better build -
