Okay so my months of computer research is being put to the test :p . What do you guys think of this build? any parts that work better with it? Is there any bottle necking?

CPU: Intel i5-4670K

CPU COOLER: Hyper 212 EVO

MOTHERBOARD: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard.
(Didn't really research motherboards that much, is this one a good pick?)

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
(Is this ram overkill?)

STORAGE:Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
(Might get an SSD later as an upgrade, but I think getting a Cavier Black is enough speed)

VIDEO CARD: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card
(Was thinking about getting a TOXIC 280x edition, but it seems like those are really rare. Also, I was thinking about getting a R9 290 but they haven't released non-reference cards and I heard the 290 gets really hot and loud.)

CASE: Antec Three Hundred ATX Mid Tower Case
(Don't need an LED fancy case, I just need a case that has good airflow and works)

PSU: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
(Is 600w enough?)

If anyone read through that nightmare then I thank you haha. Sorry for the huge question but with Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up I feel like I need to buy soon. So any comments with this build? Thanks

Looks great. The mobo is solid from what I know and the R9 280X looks like an amazing card.

good build for the most part. I suggest changing the PSU for a couple reasons.

1. The CX series are pretty mediocre PSUs built by CWT. the only one that's received consistent good review is the 430.

2. It's an odd wattage for your video solution. It's a little bit of overkill for a single-GPU system, but it's not enough to support multiple cards.

You're buying a motherboard with no less than 3 pci-e slots. If you plan on 2 cards in the future, you'll want 750w; for 3 cards 900-1000.

I recommend XFX PSU's, or any other Seasonic-built units.

1. First of all your chosen PSU is not compatible with HASWELL CPU. Go with HX650 or TX650, if you plan on overclocking or future SLI/Crossfire then go with 750 to 800W PSU.

2. Caviar Black are enterprise level drive, go with this one :

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.94 @ Amazon)
Total: $59.94
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-11-17 14:55 EST-0500)

About RAM : you could go with 1866MHz too, much faster.

Thanks for you input. Yeah I didn't research much on the PSU.
And about the Caviar Black, By it being enterprise level, what does that mean?

I'd recommend getting the DeepFrost NepTwin CPU cooler, almost same performance as a Noctua NH-D14 and at half the price. EASILY beats the Evo 212.

WOULD REALLY get this cooler if you don't want to spend too much money & want a great OverClock. If you do not OverClock, the 212 EVO will do JUST fine!
