I have ordered the following components for my pc rig:

PROCESSOR: Intel 3.4 GHz LGA1155 Core i5 3570K Processor

RAM : Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (KHX1600C10D3B1/8G)

HDD : WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD5000AAKX)

GPU : ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H Motherboard
( I have ordered this but should I cancel it and order ASRock Z77 Extreme4 instead because I heard that my current motherboard isnt good for Overclock)

COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

PSU: Corsair VS650 650 Watt

OPTICAL DRIVE: LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72/GH24NS95 Internal Optical Drive

CASE: Yet to be decided(Please suggest one if possible within 100usd)

Go with 2x4 = 8 GB of RAM, and not with a single stick. Corsair is better brand and 1866MHz will be better.

This is a better HDD :
