I am building my first computer; I would like to use it for gaming and was wondering if these parts are compatible with each other. Recommendations also appreciated. Thanks!

The build looks great, should all be compatible. I don't know about the after market CPU cooler fitting on the motherboard but it should be fine

Recommendations:
If you are able too, get a GTX 660 or 760 for smooth performance in games at high to ultra settings

If not then that GPU will be fine to play games at medium to high settings at decent frame rates

HERE are some benchmarks for Graphics Cards

The AMD Radeon 7770 should perform about the same as the GTX 550Ti

I would recommend looking on YouTube for games that are running on the 'AMD Radeon 7770' so you will be able to see what performance to expect
