Mini WiLan Adapter to the Desktop motherboard

Hello.
I was wondering if there's any way to attach mini wilan adapter (Atheros AR9285) to a desktop motherboard. Is it possible?

It would be much cheaper and easier to buy a full PCIe x1 adapter or USB adapter than to try to buy and get a mini to full PCIe adapter to use that card. So, while theoretically possible it would be expensive and unwise.

that type of mini wilan cards have special features which aren't there in any full PCIe adapter. And the USB adapters with those features have quite less bandwidth (~54mbps).

There indeed are excellent full size PCIe x1 adapters that are full speed and have as many or more features, for one example THIS adapter has wireless and bluetooth capability.
