Okay so i tried to take it off by force while it was still in the mobo and it popped out still attached. Now ive gone through all these threads. I tried applying some rubbing alcohol through a qtip, ive tried poorin a small amount on (with the cpu facing up). Ive tried using fore, a butter knife, and some floss. Ive also tried heating it up with a blowdryer and twisting it off. I can n longer run my pc because its out, so that's not an option and dinner is currently in the oven. Help.

PS. PLEASE HELP

Twist it. Also make sure you have unlatched/unscrewed it first.

Okay so yeah, after another hour of fiddling i pt the blow dryer on it for a good few mins and made a good strong effort to pop it off, and it did. It was too hot to touch though so i hope i did not damage it.

Glad you were able to get it off, that's crazy though.

That's pretty bad, but nothing as bad as spiders. SO many spiders.
