I have a Compaq PC with only a VGA output and a Samsung LED Smart HDTV. I would like to connect my PC to my TV but the User's Manual says "For an HDMI to DVI cable connection, you must use the HDMI IN 1 (DVI) jack." Can I use a VGA to HDMI cable or must I use a VGA to DVI adapter and then a HDMI to DVI cable for it to work?
