In 3/4 years from now, we all know that 8 cores will most likely be utilized and the quad cores will probably turn into the dual cores of today.
I've made the statement of the 8 cores being utilised because of the rate technology, games of today like bf4 can utilise 6 cores (or 8 not sure), some benchmarks show that flagship 8 core processor perform better than flagship quad core processors on multi threaded games and the next gen consoles will have 8 cores this will boost the rate of how fast 8 cores will be utilised.
With that in mind do you think that over the next 2/3 years the i5 4670k will become slower than a 8350?
They are practically on par on most games as of today.
Also what do you think of the amd Apu's?
I think they are awesome and is the future of budget gaming.
