Hello !
I'm checking my internal hard drive ( i checked up both : Automatically fix system errors & Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sector ) and i'm a bit afraid of losing the data on it ! CrystalDiskInfo said it is on good health !
Should i always back up my files manualuy before every disk checking operation ? Am i risking a data loss when launching disk checking ? Thnx

Solution
Yes, CHKDSK it is completely safe.

It is a good idea to backup of your important files on a regular basis, but you are not risking anything by running CHKDSK.
