Alright, I went up to microcenter and took back my Gigabyte AMD Radeon 7790 2GB because the on-board audio never worked. I went ahead and bought a Gigabyte Geforce 660Ti, and the audio STILL does not work. From the last 2 topics, here is what me and others tried doing:

-Enabling on-board audio in the BIOS
-Enabling the realtek audio driver as the default device
-Using universal drivers
-Disabling the primary HD drivers.

NOTHING STILL DOESNT WORK.

Any ideas? Here are the specs of my PC:
Customized Computer
Geforce 660 2GB Gigabyte
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.80GHz
Asus Motherboard(M5A97 R2.0)
8GB DDR3 RAM
128GB Solid State
1TB Toshiba Hard Drive
EVGA Bronze Edition 500W Power Supply

Solution
The rear ports may be broken. Do the internal connections work? Does the realtek audio manager even show any devices plugged in?

I want the motherboard audio to work, and I am plugging the speakers into the back of the motherboard in the green speaker panel.

Yes, the audio does show that it has devices plugged in.
And I know the Motherboard ports are not broken because when I use my old graphics card, the sound still does work.

Concluded Microcenter gave me ANOTHER motherboard that cannot withstand a simple card change. Thanks again for the help guys. Probably going to get a cheap soundcard from microcenter, than spend over 120 bucks on tigerdirect for a new motherboard this christmas. Luckily my work started giving me more hours. #Microcentersucks
