If anyone could put my mind at ease it would be much appreciated.

Quite simply cant afford a new card for Battlefield 4 at present and trying to make the best out my GTX 570 GLH. I've marginally OC'd:

*800 MHz > 825 MHz (Core)
*1000 MHz > 1025 MHz (Memory)
*No change in Core Voltage

I'm running my fans using MSI Afterburner at 80%. Thing is I'm getting a max temp of around 84C in game and worried that this is too high? Would there be any problem in increasing the fan speed more just to get the temp down? Is there any problems in running the fan at pretty much maximum speed? If anyone could shed any light that would be great.

Cheers,

Greg

Golden sample and that is all you can get at those temps?

Clean the heatsink and put on new thermal paste.

that seems bad for that gpu it should hit 900 no problem.

My stock msi card hit 900MHz the stock blower.

What case do you have? What is the airflow like? Do you have a fan blowing on it?

you seem to have heat problems, your card is already too hot.
Do not overclock the ram, it's nearly pointless with this card.

Cheers spentshells for the reply.

I blew all the dust out using compressed air but haven't applied any fresh thermal paste yet.

I have a Gigabyte AURORA PC Chassis, quite an old case now. I have no direct fan blowing on the card and always wondered how you'd set one up in all honesty. Where would you position a fan to compliment the cooling of the card?
