Fast connection Twitch stream laggy

Everything is running perfectly on my PC (rig in my computer setup), except for one thing. I can't run twitch stream on 1080p without lag. Even 720p is sometimes laggy. My connection's ping is 6 ms, and its speed is 50 Mbps download, and upload. Also, I have absolutely no problem with video streaming anywhere else. Youtube, and every other websites are fine. Is Twitch more demanding than most, is it my connection, or what else ?

Solution
It very well could be the software itself that twitch is using. Try running a ad block plugin...even though they say the transmitter does not get paid. It loads big ad and seems to stall the feeds on me.

What you want to do is run a tracert to twitch tv and then open multiple cmd windows and ping a couple of different hops in the trace continuous. You will either see it get large ping spikes at some location which indicates it is network, or you will see nothing which means it is the software, you could also see large ping spikes at the first hop which means it is either using all the CPU on your machine or it is somehow degrading the network connection between your computer and your router.

It is probably that the route to Twitch is congested, your browser is not happy(try a different one), or their service is a bit overwhelmed.

Hopefully someone else will have some time to walk through some tests. At least YouTube seems to be working for you, that at least means your ISP isn't crazy about throttling video streaming wholesale.
