On my Nvidia settings and my Windows settings, it says that my native resolution is 1280x1024, but the resolution that actually looks right is 1024x768. It also says the same in Ubuntu. My only problem is everything is really small, and when I drag stuff around, it's laggy, and my games lag bad, but I want to make 720p desktop recordings, instead of 480p (For my youtube channel)

Do you guys know what I should do?

EDIT: I forgot to note that 1280x1024 looks great in Ubuntu, but 1024x768 does not.

Doesn't tell me why I have my resolution problem. Also, my videocard is okay, not the best, it runs games like Bad Company 2 without lag.
