  1. A core i7 is no better than the Core i5-4670K in gaming. Get that instead and you save yourself a decent chunk of money.
  2. I would downgrade the CPU to an i5 and downgrade the ram, either in speed, size or both (ie 8GB [2x4GB 1866]) and use the money to upgrade your GPU.

    Looks like that ASUS board has some issues, maybe consider an alternative choice?
