Hi all,

After a couple days of reading the boards I designed what should become the first-ever computer I build. I appreciate any comments - please bear in mind I am not a computer sciences major but want to learn how to build a solid system. My overall budget is roughly $2,500.

My biggest pain point right now is - what monitor should I get in the 23-24 inch category? Due to space constraints, I only want 1 monitor and do NOT want a 27". I am only going with 1 GTX Ti but budgeting bigger power supply so that I can easily SLI if needed.

I mostly play MMORPGs and strategy games.

Thanks!

Well your list shouldn't be constrained here. These are models that I suggest to most monitor-lookers. 1920*1080, HDMI, good response times. #2 doesn't have DVI.

Michael, thank you for the suggestions. Let's assume I am willing to spend a little more and go with a 2560x1440 27". Any opinion on the Asus PB278Q, QNIX Perfect Pixel QX2710 Matte, or Dell-U2713HM ?

My build should be powerful enough to support the 2560x1440, right?
