my pc keeps saying to check my dns settings

everytime this happens i wind up having to manually configure my ip address the subnet mask, gateway, and dns and also wins. I did not write down these numbers last time. I am running windows xp with a wireless router and the netgear usb. PLEASE HELP!!!

just set your dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 the google opendns
